Construction Licenses
Most Louisiana contractor licensing is regulated by the Licensing Board of Contractors. There is a 60-day hold time on all out-of-state companies. License classifications are listed here. Qualifying party requirements must be an original incorporator/ LLC member or a full-time employee (minimum 4 month employment). Louisiana accepts the NASCLA for the Building classification.

Fire and Burglar Alarm Licensing
Burglar and Fire alarm licensing in Louisiana is regulated by the state fire marshal. In order to obtain a license in Louisiana the company must have a physical address and the qualifier must live within 50 miles of the address.
